In the summer of 2019 at one of our Northeast Softball Honor Roll Sessions, our Headfirst team had the pleasure of meeting a remarkable young student-athlete named Charlie Quinn, who was – and is – pursuing her dream of playing high-academic college softball.
Fast forward a year and not only do we have the opportunity to host Charlie at one of our Verification Series events, but also to find out that she has her very own podcast about softball – it’s called Softball Nation, and you can check it out here! In her podcast, Charlie interviews some top names in youth, college and professional softball (like All-American, National Champion and Hall of Famer Coach Sue Enquist), and also tackles issues like performance anxiety, confidence and peer pressure. As you’ll hear in her own words in the interview linked below, Charlies mission with her podcast is to tell the stories of her teammates, and to dig in on the issues that young softball players face, both on and off the field.
We are incredibly lucky to call Charlie an Honor Roll alumni – and we hope that you enjoy this conversation that we had with her about her ongoing podcast project!
